Isaac

Isaac,
What can I say but wow. He is one amazing kid! I am constantly blown away by his growth, thoughtfulness, and exuberance. This is a kid who gets completely excited and bubbly over the smallest and the largest of things. He is equally excited over a new trash truck or a Paw Patrol cupcake as he does about going to the beach or seeing a loved one who has been on vacation for awhile. He teaches me so much about being thankful and God is showing me, through my son, how to be joyful for all things. I have such a long way to go; but I have the best teacher possible.

Isaac loves to learn new things. When we ask him something and he isn't sure, he will say, "yes" anyway. For instance, "Isaac, do you know who that is?" He will say, "Yes" and then say, "I not know."

He also comes up to me several times a day to hug me and say, "Mommy, I miss you." He is a heart melter. He also loves to lay next to us after bath time and watch Donald Duck on YouTube; that or trash truck videos or a myriad of other odd things that YouTube has.

He asks frequently to play with his friends from church or his cousin. He loves to play Play-doh, draw, play blocks, Paw Patrol, and play outside in the mulch with this crane and trucks.

Isaac loves:

  • pretending to go to school
  • looking through his "noculars" (this time at Daddy removing snow from the driveway)
  • coloring and writing in his notebooks
  • looking through his "camera"
  • helping Daddy take out the trash
  • playing outside
  • eating cupcakes
  • Paw Patrol (he sleeps with Marshal and George every night)
  • Snuggling (sometimes) with Brookie

I love this kid.  I think I'll keep him!
