It's hard to believe that B is 18 months old. She is quite the powerhouse! She's a sassy, opinionated, loving little girl with light brown flyaway hair. She loves to dance and loves my phone.

She loves:

  • her puppies, Solly and Mickey (She loves Solly too; he just doesn't always reciprocate
  • Sparkly shoes, play jewelry, and Minnie Mouse pj's
  • Dressing herself
  • Rocking with her babies
  • Eating Doughnuts (who doesn't love that!)
  • Watching Daniel Tiger
  • Bath time
  • Eating
  • Clothes...also boots & shoes...a little fashionista
  • Snuggles
  • Cee Cee
  • Driving her "big red car"
  • Coffee!
  • French fries
  • dancing
  • watching the iPad
  • hugs
  • kisses
  • her puppy
  • her bunny
  • ranch dip
  • ketchup
She is is the sweetest girl. It's amazing to see her grow more each day; her vocabulary grows daily and she is consistently learning how to do new things.
I am ah-mazed at how tech savvy she is already...at only 18 months! She picks up my phone or iPad and slides to unlock it, chooses her video app, and opens it to watch Daniel Tiger or The Wiggles. Unreal...she and Isaac will be able to teach me a few things before long; although that's not really saying a lot is it?

She is consistently forming longer sentences with new words. She has been walking around saying, "I'm so maaaad!" Although she says it with a bright smile on her face. She took that from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood by the way.
She also frequently asks, "Where Izie go?" That happens when he is not in the room of course. And just a few weeks ago she said, "Brooke Mommy go bye-bye" after Eric and I left for a Bible Study.
She just amazes me every day. I cannot imagine a sweeter, more loving little peanut.

I am so blessed to be her mommy!

      Welcome 2020! Welcoming a new year is always exciting and new; like a journal that has crisp unblemished pages. I always feel prepared to make resolutions and set new goals for myself; I don’t always keep my resolutions and goals, but I do enjoy making them. Maybe setting a resolution for keeping my resolutions...what a novel idea.       I’ve even talked with the kids about setting a goal and I think they are considering it. I gave a few suggestions and we talked about what goals were and which ones they could accomplish, so we will see.       Isaac, our big FIRST grader, is one of the funniest boys around. Baby L.

December 2, 2013 Eric and I found out today that we are expecting another baby. Baby L is due August 3rd. Needless to say, this news is exciting but a huge surprise. We talked about having another baby and thought we might try when Isaac is 3 years old or so; but clearly, God has other plans. The good news is that His plan is always better than ours; so if He wants us to have another baby, then a new baby is exactly what we need!
